She was in stable condition as of Saturday morning but the condition of her pregnancy was not known at the time, said police.Authorities are searching for the suspect’s car, described as an older model Honda Accord, possibly from 1990 or 1991, police said. The Accord should have damage to the front passenger side, police added.Anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has any information is asked to call authorities at 410-307-2020. Following RB injuries, Seahawks add Marshawn Lynch and Robert Turbin

The contract, however, only covers Sunday night’s game against the San Francisco 49ers, when both teams will duke it out for the NFC West title, and Seattle’s ensuing postseason, ESPN reports.Lynch was added to the Seahawks’ roster after running backs Chris Carson and C.J. Prosise sustained season-ending injuries in Week 16.Seattle also signed running back Robert Turbin to help fill out the open spots.Both Lynch and Turbin spent part of their NFL careers with the Seahawks, including a few years together. GOP-led Kentucky panel keeps Gov. Beshear impeachment alive

first_imgFRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) — A legislative panel has dismissed two petitions calling for the impeachment of Kentucky’s governor. But the committee on Friday kept alive another effort by citizens seeking the Democrat’s ouster. The petitions seek Beshear’s impeachment for his restrictions to combat the spread of COVID-19. The House panel requested more information from Beshear as it reviews the remaining petition against the governor. Kentucky’s Supreme Court ruled last year that the governor had the authority to put restrictions on businesses and individuals to try to contain the coronavirus. A petition seeking the impeachment of the state’s Republican attorney general is still pending.last_img read more

first_imgLions Club District 404B 2 gave the advice during the Region 10 (Ekiti Axis) quarterly sports activities, organised to encourage members to engage in sporting games that would elongate their lifespan .The immediate past President of Ado-Ekiti Central Lions’ Club, Taiwo Odebunmi , who coordinated the committee for the sports programme held at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium in Ado-Ekiti at the weekend said: “We discover that many Lions Club members are hard working, some are civil servants, some are private businessmen who spend a lot of time in office, sitting down , doing a lot of businesses and do not have time to loosen up.“We discover that many of the causes of deaths is hypertension and we don’t want any of our members to suffer such because we need them. The longer they live, the better for our club, the better for the less privileged.“This is why our district Governor, Lion Adewunmi, has decided that during this year, we will engage our people in sporting activities so that they can improve their health. So, we chose to organise the sporting activities on quarterly.“We have organised sports contests among youths in schools across Ekiti, but what we are doing today is the maiden edition of the sports involving lions in the state.“Some have talents that can be useful and some have money and they don’t know where they could use it for the benefit of the common people. In this club, we have been able to sponsor a young man who is already now in the Law School.
